Lodging

Students will spend 3 days and 2 nights at Southwind Camp in Ocklawaha, FL, just an hour and ten minutes from UF campus.

First-year students will be placed into cabins with 2 counselors and 4-10 fellow incoming students. During the retreat, everyone will engage in small group discussions, worship and speaker sessions, large group games and outdoor activities. Please contact us ASAP with any food allergies or accessibility preferences so that we can accommodate your needs! We will do our best to serve you in any way that we can.

transportation

The Mount Retreat will not provide transportation to and from the retreat at Southwind Camp. If students are coming from Gainesville, the drive to Ocklawaha is just over an hour.
