The Mount Retreat is a 3-day summer retreat for first-year students at the University of Florida and Santa Fe college.

The weekend consists of teachings, worship, community building, scriptural study, and intentional breakout sessions with counselors and fellow classmates. Students grow deeply in their love for and knowledge of the Lord, amongst diverse community and lasting fellowship that is built on the foundation of the Gospel. Our counselors come alongside incoming students to champion them toward greater love, service, prayer and spiritual discipline during their transition to college. During our Ministry Fair, incoming students also have the opportunity to speak with representatives from various local churches and campus ministries to give them a personal way to seek community that matches their preferences.

Our prayer is not only that students will get plugged into steadfast community, but also that they would grow to view Gainesville as their mission field and develop a desire to actively seek Christ wherever they are called. With numerous ministries, churches and counselors dedicated to equipping freshmen and transfer students for their individual journeys, it is evident the Lord is working in mighty ways in Gainesville, FL.
